Bergen New Bridge Medical Center Outpatient Behavioral Health and our affiliate NAMI Greater Bergen will be hosting a four-part series to learn and practice stress reduction, meditation, mindfulness, de-escalation, DBT grounding, and other techniques assisting with the mind/body/emotion/spiritual balance essential for overall health, healing, and empowerment
Join them to learn the importance and science behind the health benefits of meditation, mindfulness, and the creation of neuroplasticity. The session will end with a guided imagery of a relaxing place and group discussion.

VA Veteran Phone Support Group
Thursdays at 10 a.m. weekly. This is a telephone group, from the comfort of your own home. Trained mental health professionals from VA will lead guided meditation and relaxation sessions. VA will also be checking in with everyone on their level of stress and providing helpful coping tools. Science tells us that relaxation and reduction in stress helps strengthen our immune systems – that’s important right now! IFSS-NAMI Family Support Group
An open support group for families dealing with mental illness. COPING is a project provided by NAMI Middlesex County in its ongoing attempts to improve the quality of life for people with recurring mental illness and their families.
