For almost four decades, NAMI New Jersey has been passionately dedicated to our mission of improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness.

We are guided by the goals of creating a responsive mental health system that promotes wellness and recovery, early intervention to minimize suffering from untreated mental illness, meaningful support for caregivers and inclusiveness of diversity.  NAMI NJ is proud of our leadership and achievements in providing strong education and advocacy aimed at eliminating the unjust stigma associated with mental illness.

We have come a long way, but there is much more work to be done. Together, we can ensure a brighter future for all individuals and families affected by mental illness. We ask you to help us provide statewide educational programs, support groups, free volunteer training, community outreach, public education and advocacy to meet the challenges ahead through your generous donation.

During COVID-19, people need help more than ever. We are here for you. Dealing with mental illness is not easy – not for the person with the illness, nor for the people in their life. NAMI NJ gives many people hope for the first time. We can only do that because of you and your support. Thank you for your generosity and compassion. You make recovery possible!
