Please join us in honor of Black History Month to learn and discuss, “What is Mental Health and the Impact on Communities of Color”. Each one of us can take steps to become an ally to someone—especially in Communities of Color —who are experiencing mental illness. We can all bring awareness to stigmatizing language around mental illness. The goal is to educate family, friends, and colleagues about the unique challenges of mental illness within the communities of color. Recognizing that Communities of color have unique experiences when it comes to mental illness and we can begin to chip away at the stigma.
