Join us for the first of the fall 2020 +Collected Mental Wellness Workshop Series, co-sponsored by NAMI NJ.

Our first event shares stories from perspectives of both the individual with mental illness and caregivers, featuring Asian American speakers who have personally experienced the challenges of navigating support networks for mental illness.

Panel speakers:
Ruth Kwan, a young Asian American professional (Investment Banking, SMBC) living with a chronic mental illness. She will share the many difficulties encountered in her mental health journey, the steps she took to build a support network, and how she balances recovery with a full-time career in finance.

Grace and Saroja, mental health advocates with NAMI NJ and parent caregivers to children with mental illness diagnoses. Come learn about the challenges they faced as Asian American caregivers, and how they have learned to become an invaluable part of their children’s support networks.

This event is free to the public, and we encourage any students or family members to join us for this event. Please register in advance of the event to receive a Zoom meeting link.
