NAMI NJ Webinar Series

Intensive Family Support Services (IFSS) is one of the oldest programs at Mental Health Association of Monmouth County (MHAMC) and a program born out of advocacy efforts to help support families caring for adult loved ones affected by mental health.

In this webinar, learn about the history, mission, and services of IFSS in New Jersey, including:

– One-to-one supportive consultation
– Support groups
– Educational workshops
– Linkage and referral

Topics often discussed within IFSS services include but are not limited to:

– Crisis intervention
– Safety planning
– Boundary setting
– Effective communication
– Education on mental health diagnoses
– Psychiatric medication
