Experts offer information, resources, and coping skills on various topics and Families, caregivers, and those in mental health recovery find the information in valuable.

4th Monday of every month, 7 – 8:30 pm

Monday, September 27th: Self Esteem and Its Impact on Mental Health

Judith Belmont, MS, Psychotherapist, author of 7 mental health and wellness books, and motivational speaker will discuss building self-esteem and embracing your greatness. Learn how to love yourself, life, overcome self- doubt, silence your inner critic. Discover ways to be more assertive, cultivate healthy relationships, embrace imperfection, and a more positive sense of self.

Monday, October 25th: Recognizing Serious Mental Illness in Adolescents

Dr. David Huang and Dr. Suzanne Porreca , from Atlanticare Behavorial Health will be our guest speakers.

Dr. Huang has been with Atlanticare since 2007. He is a Psychiatrist, and Medical Director of Child and Adolescent Outpatient services. In addition, he is a consultant to Youth Consultation Services, Stockton University Student Health Services and is a Professor of Psychiatry at Cooper Medical School, Atlanticare, and Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.

Dr. Suzanne Porreca, Psy. D. is the Director of Child and Adolescent Services. Suzanne has been with Atlanticare since 2008. She provides clinical supervision, Individual and Family Therapy, Program Development, and oversees comprehensive clinical and administrative operations of Child/Adolescent Programs.
