Training Series:

NAMI Middlesex County in collaboration with Intensive Family Support Services invites you to attend: Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Training Series for Families. This is a 6-week training series offered to families whose loved ones with mental illness have already learned or are in the process of learning DBT skills. You will learn specific skills related to mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness, as well as ways you can support your loved one’s recovery.

Sessions will take place via Zoom on the following Tuesdays from 6 – 7 p.m.: January 25, February 1, February 15, February 22, March 1, March 8. This training series is FREE, but you must be able to commit to attending all 6 sessions.

8 week education course for families of adults living with mental illness

Upcoming Class:
NAMI Middlesex will be offering Family to Family classes this Spring. Remote classes will run from March 9 until April 27 from 7 to 9 pm. View flyer for class details. NAMI Basics

NAMI Basics is a free, 6-session education program for parents and other family members who provide care for youth (age 22 or younger). Learn more about the course

 

Casual Outing Club:

The Casual Outing Club is a program that provides social gatherings for adults who are interested in recreational and social activities. The events take place the 4th Wednesday of each month from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.

Young Adult Social Club:

Our Young Adult Social Club provides recreational opportunities and fellowship. The events are generally held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday afternoon of every month in Middlesex County, and range from bowling, to mini-golf, movies and picnics in the park.
